Website Visitors

Pogopark.org uses Google Analytics to collect non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Our purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how visitors use our website and what kinds of information are of most interest to those visitors.

Cookies

A cookie is a string of information that a website stores on a visitor’s computer, and that the visitor’s browser provides to the website each time the visitor returns. Pogo Park uses cookies to identify which visitors are new to our Site, and which are returning guests. Visitors who do not wish to have cookies placed on their computers may set their browsers to refuse cookies before using Pogo Park’s website.

Personal Information

Pogo Park discloses personally-identifying information only to those employees and contractors that need to know that information in order to process it on our behalf and whom have agreed not to disclose it to others. Pogo Park will never rent or sell your personal information, and will only disclose personal information in response to a subpoena, court order or other governmental request. Pogo Park takes all measures reasonably necessary to protect against the unauthorized access or use of personally-identifying information.

Donors

Pogo Park stores donor information in Salesforce, a secure online platform. We may acknowledge our donors by name only on our website and in our annual report or other publications. We collect donor mailing and email addresses solely for the purposes of sending donation receipts and thank yous, and to add those individuals to our general mailing list. We occasionally survey donor interests and preferences in order to guide our fundraising and development efforts.

Donors who prefer to remain anonymous, want to update their personal data, or who wish to opt out of future communications may do so by contacting our administrative office.

Mailing List Subscribers

Pogo Park maintains a private mailing list through Salesforce and Mailchimp and emails our subscribers about special events, important Pogo Park news, and for our biannual fundraising campaigns. Subscribers may opt out at any time by clicking the link at the bottom of any Pogo Park email, or by contacting our administrative office.

Changes in policy are effective immediately upon posting. We encourage our visitors to frequently check this page for any changes to our policy.
